Eric G. Silverman

Of Counsel

Mr. Silverman is the firm’s expert in real estate transactions.  He started his legal career over 25 years ago at small general practice firm in Manhattan, graduating to Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman, one of the largest real estate firms on Long Island.  Mr. Silverman quickly became involved in all facets of real estate, including representing builders of new construction, and specializing in residential real estate.

After 9/11, Mr. Silverman went to work for the U.S. Government in a law enforcement capacity.  He quickly graduated from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center and began working as a field agent, supervisory special agent and even an acting assistant special agent in charge of New York.  During that time, he continued representing buyers and sellers of residential real estate until retiring in 2025.  Mr. Silverman wasted no time returning to the full-time practice of law and joined Edelman Krasin & Jaye as Of Counsel.
